As project managers, how do we know if what we are building is going to deliver value? What can we do to focus our efforts in the right direction? This presentation will take a look at how value is delivered and the key metric we can focus in on in order to accelerate value delivery.

Bob is an experienced consultant, writer and speaker; currently an Agile Transformation Manager and Tooling Solution Architect at Accenture, where he advises Fortune 500 companies on their value delivery journey. He was a contributing author to the book How Successful Organizations Implement Change (PMI 2017) and PMP Exam Cram 2 (Que 2006). He was an Executive Project Manager with IBM, where he specialized in leading software initiatives following lean/agile techniques. Bob’s career began in the U.S. Navy where he served for seven years as a cryptologist. He has earned numerous certifications (SPC6, CSSBB, CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP and others) and has spoken at conferences around the world. Bob holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MS in Business from Johns Hopkins University.
